Hybrid Strength & Conditioning

Afterburn Summer Volleyball Performance Training
This 14-session program is designed for beginner to intermediate volleyball athletes looking to improve athletic performance, movement, and volleyball-specific skills in a structured and supportive environment. Athletes will develop strength, conditioning, agility, jumping mechanics, and overall game confidence through progressive turf training and full court gameplay sessions.
Program includes 12 performance-based turf training sessions and 2 x 2-hour full court sessions focused on gameplay application and competition. Sessions are limited to 14 athletes to ensure quality coaching and athlete development.
Dates: June 15 -July 24, 2026
Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays, 7:15 PM–8:40 PM at Afterburn Fitness.
July 3 and 24 (Friday): Full court sessions will take place during Sessions 7 & 14 from 7PM to 9PM at a partner court facility
Rates + HST:
Early Bird: $219 (ends June 6)

Akiel's Emergence Strength Camp
Akiel runs a strength and conditioning class at Afterburn Fitness every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Drop-ins are welcomed if spots are open as there is a limit of 20-24 people per class and it is first come, first serve.
4 week blocks - each block will focus either on strength, hypertrophy, power and conditioning with some type of intensifier (drop-sets, supersets, rest pause, etc.)
Rates:

Intro to Powerlifting Session w/ Kyle
Are you curious about powerlifting and want to learn the basics? This is your chance to get a FREE 1:1 introduction to powerlifting, guided by our expert coach, Kyle. Whether you're new to lifting or looking to refine your technique, Kyle will walk you through everything you need to know to safely and effectively perform the three main powerlifting lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift.
